Join us this September for our next upcoming e-waste drive.
Details coming soon!
Did you know? The BGA has collected over 15 tons of e-waste in the last 5 years!
Here is what we can accept at our e-waste drives:
Computers (CPUs), monitors, printers, scanners, fax machines, photocopiers, cell phones, VCR/DVD/CD players, game systems, stereos, televisions, and other electronic devices. We do not accept any radioactive material or electronics with hazardous materials such as air conditioners and humidifiers.
Q. Why is it important to have a program in place for obsolete electronics and other hazardous waste disposal?
A. There are stringent environmental guidelines for the disposal of electronics and hazardous waste. What’s more, there are privacy regulations for removing sensitive data from electronic media. Organizations that do not comply with these requirements are subject to hefty fines and put their reputation at risk.
