Join Climate Change Theater Action (CCTA) for their first event of the year. Climate Change Theater Action (CCTA) is a worldwide series of readings and performances of short climate change plays presented biennially to coincide with the United Nations’ Conference of the Parties (COP). CCTA uses theatre to bring communities together and encourage them to take local and global action on climate change. Fifty professional playwrights are commissioned to write five-minute plays about various aspects of climate change. This year’s theme is “Lighting the Way”. Events include in-house readings, public performances, radio shows, podcasts, and film adaptations. Events will run through December 20, 2019. Learn more here.
