Bees are vital to the pollination of plants and environmental growth. Join Urban Park Rangers as we demonstrate low cost and sustainable ways to attract and house some of New York City’s most compatible, beneficial, and hardworking pollinators.
Optional supplies to have on hand to build your first low-cost bee house which may include: Washed out Gatorade/soda/water bottle, natural reeds (Phragmites preferred) cardboard from paper towel or toilet paper rolls, brown shopping bag, scissors, tape, soil.
