All You Wanna Do: Make Upcycled Playbill Flowers

Calling green crafters of all ages! Join Sasha Pensanti, creator of Some Other Me Shoppe, as she leads weekly craft sessions to make beauty out of the “trash” lying around your home. Connect with other crafters to learn how to keep your family entertained - sustainably! This week, Sasha will teach us how to make her signature Playbill flowers you might recognize from Broadway Flea and Broadwaycon. All you need is glue (hot glue or regular glue) and any type of paper from around your house (old Playbills, magazines, newspapers, junk mail, computer paper, etc). Put your “green thumb” to use at home!

More About Our Video Learning Sessions

At the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic and Broadway Shutdown in 2020, the BGA sought to develop accessible programming that would keep our community connected to each other and the earth. Thus, the #GreenQuarantine Virtual Learning Series began and ended with a great run of 30 sessions led by theatre and environmental industry professionals. Now, you can explore 24 of the sessions on-demand and learn about the many ways to use your art and voice in the sustainable theatre movement!

These weekly webinars keep me active, engaged, and educated in these topics like I may never have been before. I feel more inspired and capable of making change not just in my life but also on a larger scale thanks to the information and organizations the Green Quarantines have provided.
