BGA Director Molly Braverman and Program Manager Austin Braxton-Smith were delighted to attend the NYC premiere of Wicked: For Good at Lincoln Center. It was a celebration of musical theatre on the big screen and an inspiring evening that highlighted the transformative power of music and storytelling. 

They were especially thrilled to see the premiere provide aluminum water bottles from Rain instead of single-use plastic. It’s a simple but impactful switch—one that all theatres can incorporate into their own events and concessions. We’re always learning from one another across the industry, and this is a shining example of how seemingly small actions add up to build a more sustainable future for theatre makers and audiences alike.
